Entrega de diplomes Cambridge 1r ESO

Today, we awarded the Cambridge certificates to students in 1st ESO C and 1st ESO D. A total of 47 students have achieved an English proficiency level of A1, A2, A2+, or B1. Most of them obtained the highest score in the speaking component. We want to especially congratulate Oskar Lemche, Marius Lemche, Miquel Agell, Ignacio Bernad, and Pol Estivill, who attained a B1 level (PET), as well as Alvaro Pazos, Josep M Manresa, and Bernat Gasch, who reached an A2+ level (KET). After the awards ceremony and taking the corresponding photos, they enjoyed a special breakfast in the dining hall.

Last year, for the first time, all 6th-grade students took the Cambridge exams, with 81% achieving an A2 level or higher. It is worth highlighting the 8 students who attained an A2+ level, the 8 who certified at the B1 level, the 2 who reached B2, and one student who achieved C1. All this work is part of the Primary English Project, which we started last year to enhance the development of students’ language skills during this stage, including semi-annual reports, more weekly English hours, and official exams.
